We are a married couple in our mid 30s, hoping to have children. She is 33, he is 35. She has PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), one of the leading causes of infertility. However, thanks to advances in (expensive) medical treatment, women with PCOS can potentially get pregnant via a variety of interventions. This blog will serve not only as a document of an infertility journey, but – hopefully – will become a full-on mommy blog in the future.
Prior to treatment, ultrasounds confirmed that she has a good follicle count, but does not ovulate on her own due to PCOS. Thus, medical intervention to get pregnant is likely required.
